Branding project for a unique perfume collection inspired by The Odyssey story, with a unique twist. Each fragrance in the series represents a character that appears in Odysseus’s journey. The twist is not only about creating a connection between each character, Odysseus, and the original story, but also about revealing each character’s uniqueness and their personal story. This allows every person to choose which character they connect with, and to feel that they are part of the journey.
The collection includes nine characters. Each character has its own branded packaging, featuring a unique animal illustration and color that represent it, a branded bottle, and its quote from the book. The quote is presented in a way that allows the customer to interpret it personally, like a fortune cookie. In addition, the buyer doesn’t actually know which character they’ve chosen until opening the package and discovering which one they received, creating a surprise element, similar to a Kinder egg.
